Open, you lay it over your lap in the armchair, across your legs at the desk or over the back of the sofa. Zip up the front and you have a cape to throw over your shoulders: it covers the back, shoulders and arms down to the hips, the area that cools fastest when you sit still. It stays in place with nothing to tie and does not slip when you reach for a mug or the remote. Two functions in one mean you no longer choose between a blanket and heated clothing.  The warmth comes from a 10 W carbon fibre element placed across the back. It warms up in a few minutes and spreads the heat evenly over the whole surface. You power it from any USB 5 V/2 A power bank tucked into the pocket, so the blanket works in the armchair, on the balcony and in the car, with no cable to a socket. One button selects one of three power levels, and after 45 minutes the heating switches off by itself. When you are done, you unzip it and fold it like any other blanket.  Key features
