It works after a bath, during an evening film, at the desk in an unheated room or on the balcony when summer is fading. It reaches roughly to the knees, so it covers the back, stomach and thighs, and the wide cut leaves room for a jumper or hoodie underneath. The softly lined hood shields the neck and ears, and the large kangaroo pocket warms your hands and holds a phone.  The heating is built into the back and the front, where you lose warmth fastest when sitting still. The 10 W carbon fibre element warms up in a few minutes and spreads the heat evenly, with no hot spots. You power it from any USB 5 V/2 A power bank tucked into the dedicated pocket, so you can move around the flat with no cable to a socket. One button switches three power levels: full for a quick warm-up, medium and low for long sitting.
