Hunting and fishing
In a hunting stand or by the water you spend hours without moving, often at dawn, the coldest part of the day. Staying still is the main reason you get cold, not the temperature itself. Heated gloves, socks, insoles and underwear let you sit it out instead of heading back after two hours. Gloves with fold-back fingertips leave the index finger free for the trigger and the line.
